We Look Forward To Meeting You!

Welcome to Poplar Creek Baptist Church. We've put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

Atmosphere

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The dress code is whatever you feel the most comfortable.  You will see people dressed in anything from shorts, blue jeans, to a coat and tie.  The music and worship feature upbeat traditional hymns built around Biblical themes that are timeless. Our Traditional Southern Baptist service offers a blend of reverence and joy. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed by our church family.

Family Friendly

No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at Poplar Creek Baptist Church and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. During our worship service, we have care available for infants and children. Your children will receive real spiritual training from a group of caring leaders during this time.

Worship Service

Here at Poplar Creek, we are a traditional Baptist church that sings traditional hymns. However, we sing these hymns with a smile on our face and joy in our hearts. We express our love for Christ through these hymns that have been around for generations.

Here at Poplar Creek, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. From the pulpit, you will hear sound expository preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed. Our pastor is committed to making God's Word accessible and applicable to everyday life. Every sermon will always be Christ-Centered, and Bible-Based.  The Worship service is a time for us to come together as a community of faith to sing hymns of praise, to learn, and to be challenged by God's Word.
